Wei Yin Vuong, DMD
Dr. Vuong (known by her patients as Dr. Wei) feels that as a dental professional, there is nothing more fulfilling than being able to help a patient find function and beauty in their smile.
While treating all phases of general and cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Wei finds it rewarding to help others feel better about themselves. Dr. Wei enjoys forming relationships with her patients by providing tailored dental care and takes the time to make sure she understands each patient's concerns, desires, and needs. The Dawson Academy concept has been a huge part of her philosophy, which emphasizes comprehensive dentistry and early intervention for overall better health for her patients.
Originally from Boca Raton, Dr. Wei Vuong relocated to Indian River County to pursue her career as a dentist, and became a partner with Dr. Jenna Katz Schwibner at Dental Partners of Vero Beach.
Dr. Wei is a double Gator fan, having graduated from the University of Florida for both her bachelor’s degree and Doctorate in Dental Medicine degree.
She is dedicated to making a difference being involved and gives her talent and time to numerous charitable causes. Whether it be public health clinics, mission trips, participating at FDA’s Florida Mission of Mercy, a two-day yearly event that treats the under-served and uninsured, Project Smile events and provides gratis dental care through Dental Partners Give Back program for the community Dr. Wei helps all of her patients feel good about themselves.
When Dr. Wei is away from the office, she adventures out trying new restaurants and new cuisines. Then she experiments in her own kitchen reproducing the great recipes she has enjoyed! She especially enjoys trying cuisines from different nations and learning about the culture behind the meals and dishes. If Dr. Wei were not a Dentist, she would probably be a traveling food connoisseur/critic as it would combine her two favorite passions, learning more about different cultures and getting to eat everything and anything the world has to offer!
